Overview

A Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper based in Belgravia is needed to help a lovely family in maintaining a clean and organised household whilst caring for their charming toddler. The family are only in London for three months of the year. The candidate should be able to manage the house, groceries, and serve the guests. They are looking for a candidate who is presentable, clean, and can take care of the home. Strong communication skills are required, including knowledge of how to deal with contractors and where to find them for any issues. The family have a housekeeper and some other staff. The family is looking for a live-in nanny-housekeeper/house manager/butler.

Note: A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working arrangements

Working hours: Flexibility required – typically 7 am to 7 pm. Accommodation: En-suite bedroom on own floor with kitchenette. Own cinema room for the staff.

Duties
  • Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child
  • Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
  • Keeping child’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
  • Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
  • Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
  • Making beds and replacing linens as needed
  • Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
  • Restocking the home
  • Running errands
  • Grocery shopping
  • Menu planning
  • Liaising with staff members (cooks, housekeepers, drivers, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of the household and events
  • Ensuring a high standard of work is executed by staff members
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Valid first aid qualification
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with contractors and arrange repairs as needed
  • Presentable, clean, and capable of taking care of the home and coordinating with other staff
  • Experience in a similar live-in role is preferred
