Litigation Solicitor Dispute Resolution (4 PQE)

About This Opportunity

Join our clients thriving Dispute Resolution team as a Litigation Solicitor and take the lead on a diverse caseload spanning civil commercial and property disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator seeking a supportive environment where your expertise is valued, your clients are engaged and your career progression is prioritised. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team handling matters from inception through to resolution with genuine autonomy over your cases.

The Role

As a Litigation Solicitor you will :

  • Lead case management for civil commercial and property disputes from initial instruction through to trial and settlement
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on dispute resolution options, risk assessment and cost‑benefit analysis
  • Draft and review pleadings, correspondence and legal submissions to court
  • Conduct client meetings and negotiations with opposing counsel to progress matters efficiently
  • Manage caseloads of 4–6 active files prioritising effectively and meeting deadlines consistently
  • Contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practice
  • Maintain professional relationships with courts, opposing solicitors and clients
About You
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years Post‑Qualification Experience (PQE) in litigation or dispute resolution
  • Proven experience handling civil commercial and/or property disputes
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills with demonstrated success in resolving matters
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Rights of audience (or willingness to obtain) for higher courts (desirable)
  • Current practising certificate in good standing
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mediation or arbitration
  • Knowledge of commercial property disputes
  • Track record of client satisfaction and retention
