Job description

Job Title: Litigation Solicitor
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000
Location: Doncaster
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of dispute resolution matters, including civil disputes, commercial disputes, property disputes, employment law and professional negligence claims
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, providing clear, commercial, and practical legal advice
• Prepare and draft court documents, including Claim Forms, Particulars of Claim, Defences, and Part 8 Claims
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution forums
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases and ensure compliance with current legislation
• Liaise with clients, witnesses, experts, and third parties to gather information and provide updates on case progress
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions to achieve favourable outcomes for clients
• Ensure all cases are managed in accordance with agreed timelines and within budget, keeping clients informed throughout the process
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, where required, assisting with their professional development
• Assist in business development activities, including drafting blogs, articles, and attending client meetings or events to enhance the firm's profile
