Overview

A leading regional law firm with offices across Lincolnshire and the Midlands is seeking a confident, proactive, and structured Litigation professional to join its Personal and Business Dispute Resolution Department. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters while contributing to the growth and development of the department.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of civil litigation matters, with responsibilities including:

  • Handling a range of civil litigation work
  • Generating new work and converting quotations
  • Promoting the firm's reputation and contributing to business development initiatives in line with the department's Marketing Policy
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing service to existing clients while generating new work
  • Develop and enhance the Personal and Business Dispute Resolution Department, maximising cross-referrals across offices and practice areas
  • Produce fee income in line with targets and agreed objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant law and practice
  • Maintain and enhance professional legal skills
  • Manage financial control, including billing and cash flow on client matters
  • Maintain accurate records of time spent on client and internal work
  • Perform fee-earning work accurately and reliably, in accordance with the firm's quality and risk procedures
Person Specification

Essential
