A local government authority in Scotland is seeking a highly motivated Licensing Assistant for their Legal and Democratic Services Department. The successful candidate will process applications for various licences and manage records efficiently. This temporary role requires strong organisational and communication skills, ideally with administrative experience and relevant qualifications. The position is funded for 9 months, subject to business needs.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Licensing Assistant within Legal and Democratic Services Department.
You will process applications for licences in terms of relevant licensing legislation, including applications under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982; the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005; houses in multiple occupation under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006, and applications for landlord registration under the Antisocial Behaviour etc. (Scotland) Act 2004.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 9 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
