A local government council in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Licensing Technical Officer to deliver service functions within regulatory services. This role involves upholding licensing objectives, consulting with businesses, and providing specialist advice. The successful candidate will have experience in service delivery, a valid UK driving licence, and a genuine interest in public protection. Starting salary £38,350pa with progression to £41,254pa through annual increments subject to satisfactory service (inclusive of outer fringe allowance). 37 hours per week (hybrid working).
We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic professional to deliver the service functions within regulatory services. The Team covers a specialist area of Environmental Health. This role specialises in the regulatory fields of Licensing, including the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, taxis, animal licensing and a range of other miscellaneous licences.
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Officer with experience in service delivery. A genuine interest in public protection and supporting the business community. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a prominent public-facing service, offering the opportunity to shape standards across the borough. You will have a UK driving licence and access to a car.
