Job summary

A leading global engineering firm in Hurn is seeking two apprentices for their Engineering team at the Wimborne facility. This 48-month Level 3 degree apprenticeship includes on-the-job training and college-based learning, leading to a recognized qualification. Apprentices will earn a competitive salary starting at approximately £14,770 per year, work 37.5 hours per week, and enjoy 25 days annual leave along with various benefits. Qualifications

  • Minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or 4 and above including English and Maths.
  • Candidates with A-level or equivalent Level 3 qualifications may also apply.
  • Degree holders with no prior qualifications in engineering can apply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engine assembly skills from disassembly to rebuild.
  • Learn to rig and test engines using computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Ensure all supplied components are defect-free through quality inspection.
  • Understand engineering design processes using CAD tools.
