A leading education staffing agency is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a primary school in Wakefield. The role involves supporting children in Early Years Foundation Stage through play-based learning, creating a nurturing environment, and collaborating with teachers. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification and experience in early years settings. This full-time position offers competitive pay and a supportive work environment.

Salary: £88–£110 per day (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in Wakefield. You’ll play a key role in supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them build the social, emotional and learning foundations they’ll carry for life.
Supporting children in EYFS through play-based learning and structured activities
Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels included
Working with teachers and SENCOs to tailor support for pupils with additional needs
Encouraging independence, communication and social skills
Contributing to assessments and tracking progress in line with EYFS frameworks
Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Experience in an EYFS setting within a school or nursery
A warm, patient and creative approach to learning
Strong teamwork and communication skills
