Job summary

A local childcare provider in Harrogate is seeking a proactive nursery practitioner to support the EYFS. Candidates should have a level 3 diploma in Early Years or Childcare and at least 2 years of nursery experience. The role offers flexible hours between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with additional benefits including childcare discount, training opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Early Years qualification of a level 3 diploma, equivalent or higher.

Overview

To be a proactive practitioner who supports and delivers confidently the EYFS. To provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. To offer full and practical support in the day to day running of the nursery. To be flexible to the needs of the business.

Flexible to work between 7am - 6pm, Monday - Friday, to be flexible to the needs of the business.

Interview Details

The interview is led by our Recruitment Officer and supported by a senior member of the team. We will ask you questions on the following areas:

  • Your history and experience in childcare
  • SEND
  • Your training and qualification(s)
  • Your Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS (primary & specific areas)
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection. Procedure in dealing with “what to do if you are worried a child has been abused”
  • Prevent Duty & British Values
