Job Overview

Job Title: LEV Engineer.
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits: £24k – £45k + Training + Benefits.

An industry leading provider of LEV services is looking for an experienced and hardworking BOHS P601 qualified LEV engineer. Covering the North East region, you will work on Commercial, Industrial, and Manufacturing sites, carrying out LEV testing, installing and commissioning new LEV systems, and providing clients with detailed technical reports based on site findings. You will also identify opportunities to upsell and promote company services and products to new and existing clients.

The client offers regional based work ensuring a better work/life balance and opportunities for further training and development.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Must hold the BOHS P601 qualification.
  • Proven track record working as an LEV engineer for an established LEV company.
  • Excellent knowledge of HSG 258 / COSHH guidelines.
  • Organise workload in line with company and client requirements.
  • Good IT skills.
Responsibilities
  • Work on Commercial, Industrial, and Manufacturing sites, conducting Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing.
  • Install and commission new LEV systems.
  • Carry out air flow checks on clients' existing systems.
  • Provide clients with detailed technical reports in a timely manner upon completion of site work.
  • Work in accordance with HSG 258 / COSHH guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and promote company services and products to clients.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: South Shields, Tynemouth, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Consett, Newcastle upon Tyne, Morpeth, Ashington, Hexham, Durham.
