Responsibilities


  • Based in Sir Matt Busby Sports Complex, Bellshill your main task will be to assist our customers within this busy sports venue and ensure that they enjoy their visit. The customers’ safety, especially within the pool area, will be your main responsibility.

  • All candidates must possess a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. A variety of tasks will be undertaken in relation to the efficient operation of the venue including general cleaning duties, setting out equipment and preparation for events.

  • You will work as part of a team and must be a strong swimmer. You will have a pleasant manner, good communication skills and a helpful approach when dealing with our customers.

  • You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.

  • Work pattern will be a 3-week rotating shift pattern including evenings and weekends. Two positions will be permanent with the third being temporary until 31 March 2026.
