The Vacancy

A fantastic opportunity has arisen and we are looking for someone who is interested in working in sports and leisure to join our team. We are recruiting to the role of Leisure Attendant (Lifeguard) which involves undertaking the typical duties of a lifeguard, working poolside. You will also support with the setting up of various sport and leisure operations that take place in our building - badminton, trampoline, table tennis as a few examples and maintaining the cleanliness of the building.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate
  • holds a current, recognised pool lifesaving qualification (NPLQ)
  • is motivated, punctual and has the ability of dealing with the public
  • can follow health and safety procedures as well as follow pool safe operating procedures
  • can set up and dismantle equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • can work a shift pattern that involves working evenings, weekends and bank holidays
