Job Description

Our client, a leading name within the water treatment/water hygiene industry has recently acquired several new contracts and due to the increased workload they now urgently need to employ a hard‑working and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their busy team in the Doncaster area. The role involves daily duties such as Legionella Risk Assessments, producing schematic drawings, working on a range of domestic and commercial sites and carrying out surveys of water systems. Applications from Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Dinnington and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience
  • Must have attended an approved Legionella Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds.
  • Will have experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • A good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Role
  • Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with industry guidelines.
  • Working on a wide range of systems including domestic and commercial.
  • Producing schematic drawings, final documents and reports.
  • Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
  • Undertake regular temperature testing and water sampling.
  • Carrying out surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
  • Maintain a strong professional working relationship with a large portfolio of clients.
