Job description

A well-respected name within the water industry, our client delivers a wide range of water treatment, water hygiene and legionella services to clients across the UK. They are now recruiting for an experienced and reliable Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant based in or around the London area. The successful candidate will be fully conversant in ACOP L8 guidelines and will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments on a range of site types. Consideration will be given to candidates from Hertford, Dartford, Braintree, and the surrounding areas with good access to the M25.

Experience

• Will have attended City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment course or equivalent WMS qualification.
• Have a proven track record of working as a legionella risk assessor with the water hygiene/water treatment industry.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Packages.

Role

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments across a varied site base.
• Writing up appropriate reports and attending meetings to discuss findings of reports.
• Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients/customers and staff.
• Dealing with problems as and when required appropriately and effectively.
• Prioritising workload and ensuring work is completed within timescale.
• Travelling to sites as per client’s requirements.
