• Experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/Water Hygiene industry.
• Good working knowledge of commercial water systems and ACOP L8.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning, disinfection, and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems.
• Undertake Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8.
• Compile schematic drawings and produce final documents for clients.

Job description

Our client is a well-established water treatment/water hygiene company and due to current work commitments they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Beckenham area. Consideration will be given to applications from Barnet, Lewisham, Bromley and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

• The applicant will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/Water Hygiene industry.
• A good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and ACOP L8.
• Competent with the Microsoft Office Package.
• Excellent communication skills.

Role:

• Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, tank cleans and cooling towers.
• Undertake Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
• Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.
• Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes and quotations.
• Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
