Job Summary

Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Nottingham, East Midlands

Salary / Benefits: £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a leading name within the water treatment/water hygiene industry and has recently acquired several new contracts. Due to the increased workload, they urgently need a hard‑working and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their busy team in and around the Leicester area. The successful candidate will work on sites along the M1, undertaking daily duties such as Legionella Risk Assessments, producing schematic drawings, working on a range of domestic and commercial sites, and carrying out surveys of water systems.

  • Surrounding areas: Doncaster, Sheffield, Mansfield, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Tamworth, Burton on Trent, Melton Mowbray, Beeston, Newark on Trent
Qualifications & Experience
  • Must have attended an approved Legionella Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds.
  • Experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • Good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Carry out Legionella risk assessments in line with industry guidelines.
  • Work on a wide range of systems including domestic and commercial.
  • Produce schematic drawings, final documents and reports.
  • Provide recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations and carry out such works based on the risk assessments.
  • Undertake regular temperature testing and water sampling.
  • Carry out surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
  • Maintain a strong professional working relationship with a large portfolio of clients.
