Qualifications

• Must have strong experience working in Legionella/Water Hygiene.
• Knowledge of HSG 274 is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience in water hygiene/remedial work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legionella risk assessments on domestic water systems.
• Write comprehensive reports to clients.
• Produce schematic drawings for sites.

They are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to service new commercial, domestic and public sector client contracts. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and will be comfortable with client-facing interactions. You will be covering sites across: Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Hyde, Stockport, Wilmslow, Altrincham, Knutsford, Warrington, Leigh, Wigan, Chorley, Skelmersdale, St Helens, Prescot, Widnes, Runcorn, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Kirkby, Bootle, Formby, Southport, Ormskirk, Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Brighouse, Mirfield, Dewsbury.

Experience / Qualifications

• Must have strong experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor within a Legionella / Water Hygiene company
• Will hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• It would support applications if candidates have hands‑on water hygiene / remedial experience
• Strong ACOP L8 and HSG 274 knowledge
• Hardworking manner
• Good client‑facing skills

The Role

• Conducting legionella risk assessments on predominantly domestic hot and cold water systems
• Writing comprehensive reports to highlight any risks and make recommendations to clients
• Producing site‑specific schematic drawings
• Ad‑hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Providing detailed technical advice to clients and answering queries
• Completing reports in a timely manner
• Representing the company in a professional manner
