The Role

In this role, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to a busy and successful conveyancing team, assisting with a wide range of residential property transactions. Your responsibilities will include preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence, liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other Solicitors, as well as managing diaries and arranging appointments. You will be involved in opening, maintaining and closing client files, conducting land registry and property searches, and assisting with post:completion work, including SDLT submissions. In addition, you will support the team with billing processes and general file management to ensure the smooth running of matters from start to finish.

The Candidate
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year\'s experience in a Legal Secretary or conveyancing support role, with a solid understanding of the conveyancing process.
  • Strong typing and document production skills, together with excellent attention to detail and organisational ability, are essential.
  • You will be confident, friendly and professional when dealing with clients and should feel comfortable working with legal case management systems as well as Microsoft Office applications.
