Legal Secretary / Assistant – Conveyancing | Location: South Gloucestershire | Salary: Circa £26,000 – £28,000 (DOE)

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary / Assistant looking to join a well-established and respected South West law firm? We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support a busy Residential Conveyancing team in Bristol.

About the Role

As a key member of the conveyancing department, you will provide vital administrative and secretarial support to fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of files and excellent client care throughout the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
  • Handling client queries via phone, email, and in person
  • Preparing contracts, Land Registry forms, and other legal documentation
  • Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and coordinating meetings
  • Assisting with file management and compliance procedures
About You
  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in Residential Conveyancing is essential
  • Strong typing and administrative skills, with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management systems
