Role: Legal PA / Executive Assistant (Employment Focused)

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOA

Location: Glasgow, Hybrid Working Pattern

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in supporting fee earners within the Employment team, acting as a central point of contact for clients and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of files, billing and tribunal preparation.

Key Responsibilities
Legal & Administrative Support
  • Digital dictation
  • High‑quality typing, document production and electronic file management
  • Meeting and greeting clients, providing a professional first point of contact
Employment Tribunal & Document Preparation
  • Collating, preparing and managing Employment Tribunal bundles
  • Document compilation, pagination and editing
Diary & Team Support
  • Diary management, scheduling meetings and arranging appointments
  • Providing proactive support to improve workflow and team efficiency
Client Interaction & Onboarding
  • Handling incoming calls from existing and prospective clients in a professional and confident manner
  • Converting enquiries into instructions, including discussing and explaining fee structures
  • Managing client onboarding via an online compliance system, ensuring AML and conflict checks are completed accurately
Billing & Compliance
  • Preparing fees and assisting with monthly billing processes
  • Supporting fee earners with work in progress and aged debt management
About You
  • Previous experience as a Legal Executive, Legal Secretary or Legal Office Assistant, preferably within Employment Law
  • Strong client care skills with an excellent telephone manner
  • Confident discussing fees and converting initial enquiries into instructions
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in legal case management systems
  • Proactive, adaptable and keen to contribute to process improvements
  • A collaborative team player who works well under pressure
