About the company

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Legal. You will play a fundamental part in shaping the future success of the Legal function as the business grows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of construction related agreements
  • providing advice on construction litigation matters
  • providing steering and advice to the business on various legal issues affecting the house building sector

You will bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and specifically within the wider legal team.

About you

The successful candidate will have at least 4 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm or inhouse. Ideally, with experience gained within the property and construction sector. Experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment is desirable. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a fast paced, complex, and rapidly changing environment.
