A leading legal recruitment firm is seeking a Litigation Counsel for a 12-month FTC in London. You will manage complex disputes and regulatory matters, advising on commercial litigation and consumer law. Ideal candidates are qualified lawyers with over 6 years of PQE, confident in advising senior stakeholders. Overview

Litigation Counsel – 12-Month FTC (Entertainment & E-Commerce)

Location: London
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), starting end of January

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Litigation, you’ll take ownership of complex disputes and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel, providing strategic and commercial legal advice on issues that impact the business globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation and regulatory matters
  • Advise on commercial disputes, consumer law, brand protection, and property issues
  • Lead cross-border matters and liaise with international teams
  • Instruct and oversee external counsel, ensuring quality and budget control
  • Support wider legal and commercial teams with contentious input
  • Contribute to audit and reporting processes
About You
  • Qualified lawyer (UK or similar jurisdiction) with upwards of 6 years’ PQE
  • Strong background in commercial litigation, ideally from a top-tier firm or in-house role
  • Experience with consumer law and cross-border disputes is advantageous
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic, and confident advising senior stakeholders
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
