A leading legal firm in London is seeking a qualified solicitor/barrister with at least two years PQE to provide legal support in the construction sector. Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting contract terms, reviewing bonds and warranties, and managing dispute resolutions. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the construction industry and a willingness to work in the London office three days per week. Competitive salary, car allowance, and bonuses are offered.
Out Client is a listed company operating in the built environment, and a house-hold name in the construction sector.
You will work with clients and suppliers including external legal advisors, this may also include collaborating with customers, supply chain, JV Partners, outside agencies/bodies, other parts of the Group and will have responsibility at all stages of the life-cycle of our construction projects including reviewing and negotiating upstream and downstream construction contracts and associated, PCGs, warranties and bonds etc., advising on contract administration queries including extensions of time and loss and expense claims and advising in relation to all forms of dispute management and resolution. The successful candidate will be a Qualified solicitor/barrister; ideally not less than two years PQE (based on the work and salary on offer - consideration may be given to less experienced candidates displaying requisite skills and experience).
Knowledge and experience of construction/infrastructure industry including standard form construction contracts is essential.
You must also have a willingness and ability to attend the office in London 3 days per week.
