A prominent educational institution in Lowestoft seeks an experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Environmental Health to lead a new apprenticeship and BSc degree. The role requires expertise in governance, environmental law, and food safety, alongside teaching experience. Candidates should be members of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. We seek to appoint an experienced Environmental Health professional to become the course leader for our new Environmental Health Practitioner apprenticeship and BSc (Hons) Environmental Health degree. We invite applications from candidates who are currently members or fellows of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), with experience in training or course delivery. We are looking for someone able to teach a selection of the following areas: governance, environmental law, compliance, environmental protection, the science of environmental health, data for environmental health, food safety, and occupational health. We will appoint at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, depending on experience, education, and teaching experience. The course is delivered through both face-to-face and online modes of delivery, so developing digital learning skills for online platforms and classroom-based learning is a key part of the role.
