A leading educational institution in London is seeking a candidate to join their Creative and Service Industries faculty. This role involves teaching 16-18-year-old students in Travel and Tourism, preparing lesson plans, and offering personal tutoring. Ideal candidates will hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience with diverse learners. Newham College London, now merged with NewVIc Sixth Form College, is the largest post-16 education provider in Newham. With campuses in East Ham, Stratford, Plaistow, and the London City Institute of Technology (LCIoT) in Canning Town, we serve over 11,000 students across a range of pathways – including 16–18 study, adult education, apprenticeships, and higher education.

The candidate appointed will join an innovated and dynamic team involved in the delivery through a range a of 16-18 full-time study programmes within the faculty of Creative and Service Industries. This includes the provision in Travel and Tourism within the college. They will prepare and deliver teaching for a range of topics, provide advice and support students, acting as a Personal Tutor, participate in Internal Quality Assurance activities as well as related teacher administration duties
Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and student.

The salary for this position is inclusive of London weighting. Please note that we advertise our salaries on a range to indicate the trajectory of progression that can be made. Appointments are usually made at the start of the salary range. The salary structure includes progression within the published grades, subject to service, funding, and performance.
