A UK educational institution is seeking a Lecturer in Agriculture based at Suffolk Rural campus in Ipswich. Location: Suffolk New College, Otley, Ipswich [Suffolk]. Salary: £27,702 – £41,892 per annum pro‑ra, plus a market forces supplement of up to £4,383 per annum pro‑ra, dependent on qualifications and experience. Hours: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year (part‑time hours considered). Contract: Permanent.
Responsibilities: Teach and assess agriculture‑related subjects up to Level 3 to a diverse range of students. Deliver engaging lessons and assess student progress.
Qualifications & Experience: Relevant up‑to‑date industry experience in agriculture, especially with livestock, supported by a Level 3 qualification or an industry‑related equivalent. Demonstrated potential for effective teaching and willingness to undertake teacher training offered by Suffolk New College.
Location: Post based at Suffolk Rural campus; travel between campuses may be required as the college is multi‑campus.
