Overview

Job Title: Lecturer - English

Location: Lowestoft 6th Form

Hours: Fractional – 22.5 hpw – 0.6 FTE

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Lecturer Scale - £33762.00 to £40000.00 FTE (dep on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities
  • Deliver GCSE English and contribute to the Navigate to A Level course to support progression opportunities.
  • Engage learners and challenge students to achieve success.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths and be able to evidence this.
  • Teacher qualification: candidates must obtain within first three years; college can provide support with a commitment form and potential fees repayment if not completed.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare; enhanced DBS required.
