Learning Support Worker - Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Randstad is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Workers for a rewarding temporary-to-permanent position at a specialist school supporting young adults with complex needs. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, including school holidays, offering an excellent opportunity to transition into a permanent position after a successful 12-week temporary period.

About the Role

This role involves supporting young adults aged 18+. You will work alongside experienced teachers and other support workers in a well‑resourced environment. The ideal candidate will possess resilience, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs and potential behavioural challenges. Experience working with SEN students is preferred, but not essential.

Essential Requirements
  • Commitment to working with students with complex needs (including autism and physical disabilities).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult).
  • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.
  • Driving licence is highly recommended due to location and public transport limitations.
