A leading education recruitment agency is looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant in Manchester. This role involves supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience. Ideal candidates will have a degree and a passion for education, particularly for supporting children with additional needs such as autism and ADHD. The position is long-term, with a pay range of £90-£100 per day.

Qualifications

  • Degree 2:2 or above, ideally in psychology.
  • Level 2 or 3 TA qualification considered.
  • Experience or knowledge of SEN is essential.

Overview

Graduate Learning Support Assistant. Are you a graduate who has a passion for supporting children and young people with SEN? This is a fantastic secondary school in Manchester offering a long-term opportunity for a graduate to gain school-based experience prior to further study. The role is to support pupils to overcome barriers to learning and ensure they receive a truly inclusive education.

Graduate Learning Support Assistant - the role
  • An ideal way to gain experience in an outstanding secondary school
  • Based in Manchester (other schools in other local boroughs available)
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work with pupils who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, medical needs and more.
  • Receive excellent support from the school and Aspire People
  • Long term position - Paid £90-£100 per day
  • Work Monday - Friday school hours, term time only
  • DBS check required, safeguarding training provided
Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Requirements
  • Degree 2:2 or above, ideally psychology but any subject considered.
  • Level 2 or 3 TA qualification will also be considered
  • Experience or knowledge of SEN
  • Confident and enthusiastic, with a love of learning!
  • Passionate about education and supporting children with SEN.
