Overview

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant – Mathematics to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture team for 15 hours a week on a part-time, permanent basis. This role is primarily set for two full days, Tuesday and Friday, but there may be some flexibility. This role is term-time only, so you will work 38 weeks of the year.

In this role you will enable students to access the mathematics curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential.

Responsibilities

Working in a team under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and Lecturers you will assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). This may include supporting whole classes; working with individuals and small groups of learners; assisting with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities; working closely with pastoral and welfare staff in supporting students to overcome learning, physical or emotional boundaries.
