Overview

Salary: Band B scale point 3-4 24,027 - 24,404 per annum pro rata (pro rata actual salary 16,586 - 16846). Hours: 29 hours per week. 5 days Mon - Fri. Term time only plus 2 training days. Required: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted support within groups and within the classroom environment, including small group provision and delivering personalised learning to children with additional needs including personal care.
  • Initially work within Early Years and KS1.
  • Provide lunchtime support to model good communication and social skills with peers.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Minimum of NVQ level 2 relevant qualification
  • Experience of working with children across the Primary school age range
  • Ability to use initiative to create resources and direct learning, e.g. provide visual aids, appropriate materials or individualised learning approaches to move the child\'s learning forward
