Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm
Are you passionate about education and committed to supporting students to reach their full potential? We are currently working in partnership with an alternative provision in Rossendale. They are seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a full time position starting in June on a long term basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals to take on a new role and suitable for any candidates currently teaching in mainstream to make the transition into something new.
The setting caters for children ages 7 to 18 with additional needs. The school has great facilities and calming spaces for young people to relax and unwind in. The School is dedicated to developing students social and emotional development as well as their academic achievement. The school curriculum is well matched to pupils’ needs and the children have a range of special educational needs and emotional trauma.
We are looking for a nurturing Learning Support Assistant to join their already established team supporting young people with additional needs. Due to the nature of the role the school is ideally looking for a Learning Support Assistant OR individuals that have relevant experience working with pupils in a School, Youth Centre, Residential care setting or similar role. Each day will be different from the last therefore being adaptable is very important.
