A supporting education organization in the UK is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide educational and therapeutic support for children with special educational needs in a home environment. The role involves mentoring students and requires experience with ADHD, ASD, and PDA. A valid driving license and enhanced DBS check are essential for this role which offers flexibility and collaboration in a team setting.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work as part of a wider disciplinary team, offering educational and therapeutic support in a young person's home, as part of a bespoke EOTAS package based in Horsham, West Sussex.
The role would be ideally suited to an individual with extensive experience of working with SEND adolescences outside of a school environment. You will be responsible for mentoring the student, therefore a strong understanding in Attention Hyper Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and Autism (ASD) is essential.
