A community educational institution in Coventry is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support individual and group learning activities, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role involves assisting the teacher in classroom management and enabling access to learning for all students. The position offers opportunities for personal development through training, contributing to the positive educational experience of pupils and fostering an inclusive environment.
Under the instruction / guidance of teacher or Assistant Head Teacher - Inclusion and within the overall ethos of the Academy, undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils, including more specific support for those with SEN, enable access to learning for students and assist the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.
Monday - 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm
Tuesday to Friday - 8 : 30am to 3 : 30pm
Term time only plus 5 days
As a Learning Support Assistant within Ernesford Grange Academy, you’ll be able to make a key difference to a pupil’s educational experience as a crucial part of the wider team, and will have the opportunity to develop your skill set with key training and development opportunities available.
