A distinguished educational institution in Chelmsford is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a role that offers both GAP Year and permanent options. Applicants will work 26 hours and support students with special educational needs. Key responsibilities include promoting positive behavior and assisting in implementing learning activities. Role: Learning Support Assistant
Contract: GAP Year (fixed for a year) OR Permanent role,
Working Weeks: 39 working weeks (term time plus inset days)

Salary: Scale 3 points 5 -6. Depending on years' service, actual salary will be £15,809- £16,060 pa

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring and energetic person to join our Learning Support Faculty. The team are dedicated, positive and friendly. You should be approachable, patient and understanding to support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum. You will Many of our Learning support assistants have had the opportunity to progress into Teaching with our Teacher Training schemes.
