Learning Outreach Tutor – Kent

Prospero Teaching works closely with Local Councils and Schools across the UK, and we currently have a strong need for experienced one-to-one SEN tutors in Kent.

Contract Details

• Location: Kent
• Position: Outreach Tutor
• Type of work: Contract
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Until a school placement is secured
• Contract type: Temporary
• Hours: 6‑30 hours per week
• Rate of pay: £20‑£25 per hour via Umbrella Company

Your Role

• Provide one-to-one or small-group tuition for students with SEND, helping them build confidence, life skills, independence, and safe community access.
• Create and adapt individual lesson plans that target specific learning needs.

Eligibility

• Child-related or Education qualification.
• Previous UK education experience.
• Experience working with SEND.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
• Ability to provide references for the past two years.
