About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is either DSL trained or has significant experience supporting children with complex needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, supporting students in a nurturing and inclusive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with ASD and complex needs
  • Implement tailored strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and wider support team
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
  • Uphold safeguarding standards, particularly if DSL trained
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a SEN TA, especially with ASD and complex needs
  • DSL training level 1- 5 or experience is essential for applicants
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
