Overview

Be part of something new. Join the newly formed Library & Learning Services team at the University of Plymouth and help shape a forward-thinking, inclusive environment that supports student success.

About the role

As a Learning Developer, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to helping students develop the skills they need to thrive during their studies and beyond. You’ll design and deliver engaging academic study skills training, both in-person and online, through timetabled sessions and our wider skills development programme.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support
  • Contribute to the creation of self-led online learning materials; topics include academic writing, critical thinking, group work, exam preparation, organisation, and note-taking essential skills for university life and future careers
  • Gather feedback and data from your activities to support a culture of continuous improvement across the service
