Job summary

Working within the Learning & Development function you will support by delivering training needs across the Port, working with internal and external stakeholders ensuring training requirements are met. You will assist the People Development and Talent Partner by booking training course and updating our online records ensuring that we remain compliant.

This is a part-time position; hours of work can be either 16.5hrs or 21.5hrs per week.

We are open to being flexible, however Monday is our induction day, so this is non negotiable working day.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 GCSE\'s (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above to include English, Mathematics and a technical/science related subject
  • Previous Learning and Development experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good stakeholder management with strong communication skills
  • Confidence using in-house systems or readiness to learn (Oracle)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge and experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills

Salary: £14.60p/h

All offers of employment are subject to us obtaining satisfactory references (covering all education, training, employment and unemployment in the preceding 5 years) and there will be a pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol test. We need to satisfy your Right to Work in the UK.
