Job summary

A leading training organisation based in Nottingham is seeking a Learner and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to identify and engage potential learners for various training programmes. The ideal candidate should have experience in learner engagement and hold an IAG level 2 qualification. This role involves providing customer service, engaging with employers, and ensuring diversity practices. Occasional home working may be available.

Qualifications

  • Experience in learner and employer engagement.
  • Minimum of an IAG level 2 qualification.
  • Good IT skills and sound knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
  • A minimum of grade 4 English or Level 2 Functional Skills.
  • Driving license and own transport.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential learners for training programmes.
  • Carry out screening and high-quality IAG of learners.
  • Engage with employers to identify recruitment needs.

Job description

FIND are delighted to be supporting a Nottingham based, well established and leading training organisation to hire a Learner and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor.

Our client provide a range of employment related training including Full Time Programmes, Apprenticeships, Employability, Adult Learning Loans and work experience opportunities for adults and young people from diverse backgrounds, that will enhance individuals employment potential and qualifications.

The role is based in Nottingham with travel across the East Midlands (e.g. job centres, referral partners and Employers) with some scope for occasional home working.

Main purpose
  • To identify potential learners for training programmes via a variety of methods including engagement with job centres, referral partners and direct applicants.
  • To carry out screening and high quality IAG of learners to ensure suitability before enrolling learners onto training programmes.
  • Engage with employers to identify recruitment needs and provide a SWAP service.
  • To provide an effective and efficient customer service function to our external and internal customers, including learners, outside organisations and staff.
  • To ensure that Equality & Diversity practices are followed throughout the day-to-day activities, especially when dealing with learners and taking telephone calls.
Applicants must have
  • Experience in learner and employer engagement

Applicants will ideally have
  • Knowledge of the training sector; especially ASF/employability, apprenticeships and funded programmes.
