Overview

This role is based at Rolls Royce site in Washington, United Kingdom. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lean Leader/Continuous Improvement Manager to join the team in Washington.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership, drive and self-starter, and agility in contributing to the business vision and in the delivery of End to End (E2E) process level step-change value added projects. Act as Subject Matter Expert in Lean tools and techniques at the business level. Drive change management by influencing and coaching leadership, management, and teams across critical processes and specialty functions on Lean improvement.
  • Lead Business Improvement Transformation and lighthouse projects that will deliver performance and User Experience improvements using lean, agile and problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Drive and sustain the maturity of the relevant production system across the business against minimum standard criteria.
  • Coach the organisation and business leaders in lean six sigma and develop lean capability across the business. Develop and manage improvement capability, identifying appropriate training as necessary. Deliver Lean training to upskill Lean capability at all levels across the business. Act as a focal point for the understanding and sharing of best knowledge and practice across the business.
Key Skills and Experience
