A leading engineering contractor in the UK is seeking a Principal Process Engineer with over 10 years of process design experience in the regulated water industry. This hybrid role involves leading high-quality process design deliverables and guiding technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in wastewater treatment and hold a degree or equivalent. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for mentoring and influencing others within the technical leadership team. Competitive salary of £65-80k or £500 p/d LTD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' process design experience within the regulated water industry.
• Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and proven delivery experience.
• Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of safe, high-quality, compliant process design deliverables.
• Identify efficient and technically robust design solutions.
• Direct, support and develop engineers, designers and graduates.
• Approve design deliverables, design risk assessments, reports and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards.
