A leading infrastructure firm is looking for a Lead Engineer to oversee maintenance and enhancement of critical technology on the M25. Join our esteemed Connect Plus Services Technology Team and take on a leadership role in maintaining and enhancing the M25’s critical technological infrastructure. As a Lead Engineer, you will oversee and manage a team of up to four engineers and technicians, ensuring effective task allocation, performance management, and operational excellence. You will also play a hands-on role in the field, attending jobs where necessary and providing expert guidance to your team. Your team will be responsible for cyclic maintenance and fault rectification of key roadside technology, including CCTV, Emergency Roadside Telephones (ERT), MIDAS, RCC, NTIS, HAWIS, Traffic Signals, and Message Signs. You will ensure all maintenance and repair activities are carried out in line with National Highways and Technology Services quality plans, meeting contractual requirements and timescales.
