Job summary

A leading support services organization in Torquay is seeking a Lead Support Coordinator to help customers with complex needs develop their life skills. This permanent part-time role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a caring environment dedicated to improving lives. Ideal candidates will have experience in person-centered support planning and managing customer referrals. Permanent part time (20 hpw) rota working.

Pay 13.21 per hour (25838 per annum pro rata)

Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator)

Creating support plans with your customers and coordinating our small team of Support Workers working to the plans.

Supporting customers with daily living activities such as making meals shopping budgeting maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.

Carrying out risk assessments support planning goal setting and regular reviews.

Cuppas chats and catch ups. Theres no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too.

You bring

Passion to support our customers to live their best life working collaboratively with an eye for detail.

Experience of creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues in working to work to the plans.

Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals.

The ability to workon your own initiative remaincalm under pressure and havea resilient approach

Where were flexible with you we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.

We work on a 4 - week rolling rota ensuring that you can plan a healthy work / life balance spending quality time with your loved ones.

Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.

Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
