Job summary

A leading orthopaedic hospital in Birmingham is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist for a part-time role focusing on In-Patient Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery. The successful candidate will be the clinical lead for the physiotherapy service, collaborating with Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and management to ensure effective patient service delivery. This permanent position offers a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710 annually, pro rata if part-time, and requires significant post-graduate experience.

Qualifications

• Significant post graduate experience in elective general and spinal orthopaedic in-patients.
• Experience in staff development including appraisals and supervision.
• Experience of spinal surgery in-patient rehabilitation.
• Experience in rehabilitation of neurologically impaired patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate the service within In-Patient Orthopaedic Spines.
• Lead advanced assessment and treatment within In-Patient Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery.
• Liaise with therapy staff and multidisciplinary team for service delivery.
