Qualifications

Job description

PH Water & Air Technologies is recruiting a Lead Small Works Plumber within their Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Division. You’ll need to be fully conversant with HSG274 / ACOP L8 guidelines as your experience working within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment sector will be fully utilised. You’ll work closely with colleagues on various sites in and around London so if you reside no more than a two-hour commute into London, this would be ideal.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays, company vehicle, a financial loyalty bonus and other benefits we’d be happy to tell you about. There’s lots of overtime available too equating up to £12,000 per annum.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing :
  • Conduct visual inspections of water systems, including water sampling and analysis of closed systems using a site test kit
  • Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs)
  • Carry out chemical dosing of water systems
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection of pipework systems, cold-water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558 : 2011
Can you show experience in some of these areas?
  • Demonstrates mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and some plumbing experience
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm for the company and role, and ability to work unsupervised while overcoming challenges
  • Confidently discusses technical issues and accurately records detailed engineer’s reports and logbooks
  • Capable of physical work (lifting, carrying, climbing) and holds a full UK driving license
