Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote working with 1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

Salary: £Competitive + company benefits (Full-time/permanent role)

Our site reliability engineers (SREs) empower users with high availability, stellar performance, and rich features.

About the role:

This hands-on role involves working closely with the Head of Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop real-world solutions, improve software security, performance, and scalability across our cloud infrastructure. You will:

  • Lead and develop our SRE strategies
  • Manage site reliability, DevOps, and infrastructure
  • Develop and deploy APIs in containerized environments like Kubernetes
  • Enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
  • Collaborate in an agile environment with stakeholders
  • Mentor team members
  • Work with AWS services such as IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
  • Utilize CloudFormation/CDK
  • Gain exposure to serverless computing
