Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote working with 1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

Salary: £Competitive + company benefits (Full-time/permanent role)

About the role:

This hands-on role involves working closely with the Software Engineering team and the Head of Engineering to manage the SRE function daily. You will review, lead, and develop our strategy for security, performance, and scalability across our cloud infrastructure. You will have significant autonomy to shape the team's future based on your expertise in:

  • Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform management
  • API development and deployment using containerized environments like Kubernetes
  • Implementing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in an agile environment
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • AWS services such as IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
  • CloudFormation and CDK
  • Experience with serverless computing
