A leading environmental consultancy in the UK is seeking a professional to manage and coordinate landscape and ecology works. The role includes planning operations, liaising with teams and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a collaborative mindset towards sustainability. This is a full-time position with no remote work options, requiring legal work eligibility in the UK.
Programme and plan L&E works in alignment with seasonal priorities and ecological requirements.
Create and distribute briefing packs for on-site teams ensuring clarity and compliance with scoping documents & the contract.
Monitor and close out landscape and ecology-related defects in a timely manner.
Assist with ordering materials equipment and services required for L&E operations.
Support the daily running of the L&E team including scheduling resource coordination and communication.
Liaise with internal departments subcontractors and third-party stakeholders to ensure works are delivered efficiently and safely.
Maintain accurate records and update planning sheets to reflect current and upcoming works.
Ensure all works are compliant with environmental regulations and internal standards.
Provide timely updates and feedback to the Landscape & Ecology Manager and contribute to monthly reporting.
Foster a collaborative and positive working environment across the team and wider organisation.
Carry out other related duties as required to support the successful delivery of L&E objectives.
Experience in scheduling or coordinating
Experience in landscape ecology or environmental works (preferred but not essential).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software.
Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A collaborative mindset and commitment to promoting sustainability and biodiversity.
Willingness to undertake internal training including road space booking and environmental systems.
