Overview

The Royal Russell School is seeking a Lead Receptionist to lead the reception function within the Operations Team. You will be the first point of contact for pupils, visitors, staff and parents, providing outstanding support and care for the Royal Russell Community. This is a full-time role with responsibilities including line management and ensuring a professional, friendly, and efficient front-of-house service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the reception function and act as first point of contact for pupils, visitors, staff and parents.
  • Provide outstanding administrative support and customer service to the School community.
  • Line manage reception activities and operate with independence, making appropriate decisions to drive successful outcomes.
  • Work professionally, maintain a smart, approachable and dependable demeanor, and align with the ethos and values of the School.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in a similar role (front of house or concierge) is essential.
  • Dynamic, forward-thinking attitude with a strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a positive part of the School community.

Salary, Hours & Working Weeks

  • Salary: £28,428 to £30,780 (dependent on experience).
  • Hours: 07:30 to 15:30 or 10:30 to 18:30 (dependent on rota), inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid break.
  • Working weeks: All year round.
